Ian Taylor began his career in the electrical field with British Steel / Corus (now Tata Seel) more than 35 years ago.  He subsequently worked in various maintenance departments within the company, before moving into Plant Condition Monitoring.  The Condition Monitoring Division at the Teesside steelmaking site was established by Ian back in 1994.  In 2001 he became Business Development Engineer for Corus Northern Engineering Services where is role was to implement condition monitoring systems both internally at Corus and externally at a wide range of industries from food and beverage to mining and quarrying.

 Ian now works with Schaeffler UK, and has done since 2005 when the PRAXIS Partnership was set up between Schaeffler UK and Corus.  Since 2009 Ian has worked alongside Schaeffler UK as a Condition Monitoring Consultant.
