The School of Mechanical Aerospace and Civil Engineering was formed in 2004, following the merger of three former departments within UMIST and Victoria University of Manchester. The School has a strong reputation for delivering industrial focused professional development courses and consultancy specialising in plant maintenance and reliability for the past 20 years. These courses are successfully delivered within the UK and globally in Mexico, Italy & Dubai.

 

Reliability engineering and asset management is a critical field of managerial and technical importance to both the UK and the international industry. There are 8 Continual Professional Development (CPD) courses which cover the complete spectrum of plant maintenance activities, ranging from maintenance design, condition monitoring, maintenance auditing, risk & reliability, maintenance modelling, and turnaround management. These courses are IMechE accredited CPD courses which will contribute to your professional development   and also instrumental in achieving the status of Chartered Engineer and Membership.
